Swap Love

What a wonderful weekend I had... my brother Charles got married to an amazing girl, and I got to go to WARM Southern California all by myself for the wedding. Elliott did a great job of holding down the fort while I was gone, and I got to hang out with my wonderful sister Judy. She is a very talented photographer, and I got to be her "assistant" for the wedding photographs. It was great fun!

Elizabeth announced her engagement to Jonathan, and we are all very excited for them. It looks like the wedding won't be until Fall, so mom has a small break before too much planning starts.

I also received some great swap packages this past week. Rachel was my partner for the travel swap. She chose a theme of San Francisco, and sent me this great tote bag and scarf. They will be very useful when Elliott and I cross the pond for our anniversary trip in April.

(no comments about the model allowed!.. Its early, and I don't have photo shop on my computer... Emma took the photo for me!)

While I was gone, I received this beautiful quilt from the 4 Seasons Quilt Swap... the theme is winter, and the quilt depicts a mountain pass near the maker's home. It is exquisitely pieced... so beautiful!

Sign-ups just started for the Spring session of the 4 Seasons Quilt Swap... I am considering joining again... and I am sure spots are filling up fast. Hop on over join the fun.
