A Very Good Day

Today was a great day. I met several quilters from the quilting forum for lunch, and then we went to a fairly new quilt shop in Noblesville, Always In Stitches. They have the best selection of fabrics... I love that shop! It is a good thing it isn't closer to me!

When I got home, Elliott was whipping up a yummy dessert:

Raspberry Peach Kuchen
from Epicurious

It was really good, although we didn't have almond extract, so he changed the recipe a little. Also, I think he may have used boysenberries. Anyway, it was divine... Thanks Babe!

That dessert looks divine! I think I need to check out Always in Stitches again -- when I was there they'd just opened and didn't seem to have much -- but I've seen several bloggers rave about them. Have you been to Clementine's in Franklin? She isn't very big, but she has lots of Free Spririt fabric which is hard to find around here!

What a nice hubby! I'm going to have to make Chris read this as a not-so-subtle hint.
