Overheard, part 2

This was today, on our way home from Chicago (love that city-- Lori and Cory... thanks for a great day!)

Ethan: Mom, when can we go to Antarctica?

Me: I don't know, maybe when Sophie is a little older.

Ethan: Like when she's two?

Me: No (laughing), she's two right now!

Ethan: Like when she's three?

Elliott: No... like when she's 10.

Andrew: But that will be too long. We need to do it now, while we are losing teeth!

Me: Why do you need to go to Antarctica while you are losing teeth?

Andrew: Because we want to freeze our chocolate bars and then we can pull our teeth out with them!

Me and Elliott: What??

Ethan: Yeah, we can freeze the chocolate bars because it is so cold there, and then we can take a bite into them, and then our teeth will get stuck, and then they will come out when we take the chocolate bar out of our mouth.

Elliott: Uh, you can freeze a chocolate bar here, in Indiana.

The Boys: You can??

Me: Yes, just put it in the freezer at home.

Ethan: This is going to be awesome!
