Do you want to know what I love?

When Ethan is trying to be a tease and keeps stepping in front of the camera while I am trying to take a picture of his sister. Normally this might cause a parent to get upset, but Ethan won't usually smile for us when we bring out the camera... I guess he didn't realize I would be actually able to take a picture of him smiling while he was blocking the way!

I've been sewing up a storm lately. The girls' quilt tops are finished at and the quilter's (thanks Mom!), so I decided to make a dress for Emma. I have a hard time finding warm dresses that are long enough on her (that I like.)

This is McCalls #5966. It is a super easy pattern, although if you have absolutely no experience putting a dress together, you might be a bit confused, as there are some places where it doesn't tell you to press seams flat, and that type of thing, but overall it was very easy.

I think I am going to make a black pettiskirt to go underneath and give it a little bit of poofiness.

Awww, doesn't little Emma look adorable in her new dress? It looks great and she looks so happy. I was in your neck of the woods today with Hubby. We came to meet DIL and do a little Christmas shopping for our oldest. It's so funny -- we always see people from HERE when we are THERE!
