The thing about kids is ...

They grow. A lot.

This means they are constantly in need of new clothes.  CONSTANTLY.
Consequently, yesterday afternoon we found ourselves at Target (they're only going to wear them for three more months anyway) getting new tennis shoes for 3 of them, and of course new flip-flops, because with 60 degree weather it is too hot to wear tennis shoes to anything but school (their words, not mine.)

The boys each got to choose a new short sleeve shirt off the $4 table (yeah, I'm cheap like that), and the girls each got a new frock.

Sophie needed a fancy new hairdo to go with her new frock.  Something princess-ish.  Like she told us on the way home yesterday, "All my dreams come true because I wear nightgowns and I'm a princess."

Emma scored a new Liberty of London skirt I love that LoL made a line for Target. It is so floral-y and Spring-y. I considered one of their dresses for me too... it's not maternity, but it will probably work as it is super full and gathered. Andrew was an August baby, so I know I need to be prepared on the dress/skirt front. It's just too hot for anything else when you are big and ready to burst in the middle of summer.

Sophie and I are spending the day cleaning.  Hope your day is more exciting than ours.  :-)

This sounds like fun... scoring with your kids and teaching them how to shop. Sophie is adorable.
