I don't remember how it came up, but one time in a junior high English class we were discussing kids who are spoiled. One of my classmates thought I was spoiled because on rainy days I would often come home to freshly baked chocolate chip cookies and a glass of milk.
Said classmate was right. I was spoiled. What a great way for my mom to show she loved us, by making us a yummy, warm treat on a chilly day.
It's not chilly today, but I decided my kids needed some spoiling.

Man, those were the best days. I totally associate cookies with love because of that. :)
That makes me wish I'd made cookies for my kids today. Tomorrow!
I loved it when my Mom made cookies. It's too bad my kids don't associate broccoli with love . . .
Seriously Jenny... that would be the best, right?
I love this! Maybe I should make cookies for my crew this afternoon ...
that's what I am making today.
I wish I lived close enough to stop by for a cookie. :) I'm going to try that recipe -- thanks!
Or how about popcorn and chocolate chip cookies for Sunday dinner every week?????? The best. :-)
